  • The Merchants Arch is a historic former guildhall on Wellington Quay, now a vibrant pub and restaurant at the entrance to Temple Bar.

  • The Merchants Arch is easy to reach from anywhere in Dublin:

    • On Foot: Located right beside the Ha’penny Bridge, it’s a short walk from O’Connell Street, Temple Bar, and Trinity College.

    • By Public Transport:

      • Luas: The nearest stop is Jervis (Red Line), just a few minutes’ walk away.

      • Buses: Most city centre bus routes stop along the quays or Dame Street, both within easy walking distance.

    • By Taxi: Simply ask for “Merchants Arch, Wellington Quay” — drivers know it well.

    • By Car: Limited street parking is available in the Temple Bar area, with larger car parks nearby such as Fleet Street Car Park.

  • We have secured preferential room rates at two centrally located hotels for attendees of our event on 4 November. Both hotels are offering these rates on a limited allocation, available until 1 June, and rooms must be booked using the relevant special code. Both hotels are located within a short walking distance from the venue.

    We recommend booking early to secure the special rates, as availability is limited at both hotels.

  • Please note that the event space at The Merchants Arch is located on the first floor and is only accessible by stairs. Unfortunately, the venue does not offer lift or step‑free access.
